On 14 January 2026, between Ah Shey Kyoet Kone and Kaung Si villages (coded as Ah Shey Kyoet Kone) (Paukkhaung township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force and allied forces intercepted a Myanmar military column of about 200 troops traveling from Ah Shey Kyoet Kone village to Kaung Si village at about 8:30 am. The military column was forced to retreat to Hpoe Kyawt Kwin village. Casualties unknown.
