On 14 January 2026, the Kabouat militia and the Anti-Security Threat Agency led by Mohamed Bahroun clashed near the headquarters of the Anti-Security Threat Agency in Al Harsha (Az Zawiyah, West). The clash began after the Kabouat militia attacked positions of the Anti-Security Threat Agency, and it came after a militia affiliated with Bahroun abducted the brother of the Kabouat militia leader for several hours the day before, increasing tensions between the two groups (coded separately). Casualties unknown.
