On 14 January 2026, BLF militants detonated an IED targeting a military pickup vehicle near Ghulam Muhammad market in Pirandar area (Awaran, Balochistan), killing three personnel and wounding another. BLF claim twelve military personnel were killed, however, independent sources confirm three fatalities. 3 fatalities coded based on the lowest estimate, and 1 injured.
