On 13 January 2026, near San Kone village (Paukkhaung township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), unidentified resistance forces attacked a Myanmar military column of about 200 troops returning from Chin Lel checkpoint using 60mm grenade launchers at about 3 pm. Casualties unknown.
