On 13 January 2026, military forces from the Rapid Intervention Battalion ambushed Ambazonian Separatists from the ARF faction at a hideout in Bai Bikom (Meme, Sud-Ouest), forcing them to retreat. Military forces recovered ammunition, motorcycles, and electronic devices, and subsequently set fire to the hideout. There were no casualties.
