On 13 January 2026, in Myit Chay town (Pakokku township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted two airstrikes and dropped two 300lb bombs, fired four rockets, and unleashed heavy machine-gun fire on the eastern part of the town around 3:30 pm. The airstrike killed a 60-year-old woman and injured her husband. 1 fatality.
