On 13 January 2026, BLF militants ambushed a Frontier Corps convoy on the Coastal Highway at Kowari in Pasni tehsil (Pasni, Balochistan), responding after militants had stormed a police check post in the area (coded separately). BLF claim eight frontier corps personnel were killed and several others were wounded. Fatalities uncorroborated with 8 fatalities coded.
