On 13 January 2026, at night, Ukrainian forces carried out drone strikes at the workshop of the military 'Atlant-Aero' plant in Taganrog, Rostov. Following the drone strikes, the building was completely destroyed. According to local sources, the Plant was a part of the Russian military-industrial complex that produced components for combat drones and electronic warfare systems. Additionally, the drone strikes on the city damaged 5 apartment buildings, 3 private homes, 2 industrial facilities, and 6 cars. Russian forces claimed to have shot down several Ukrainian drones. 1 civilian woman (a 65-year-old janitor) was killed during the cleaning services in one of the industrial buildings.
