On 13 January 2026, according to Russian sources, 2 oil tankers (Matilda and Delta Harmony), chartered by the Kazakh company Kazmortransflot but under the flags of Malta and Liberia respectively, came under the drone strikes 100 kilometers off the coast of Anapa town in the Eastern Black Sea (coded as Eastern Black Sea, Russia). As a result of the drone strikes, explosions occurred without subsequent combustion. No casualties. Russian MoD accused the Ukrainian forces of carrying out the drone strikes but Ukraine never admitted that.
