On 12 January 2026, unidentified militants (coded as TTP) attacked and opened fire on peace militia members (coded as Aman Lashkar) in Yakh Kundai area of Upper Orakzai district (coded as Dabori (Orakzai, KPK)), killing two militia members and wounding three others. Three militants were also killed during the exchange of fire. 5 fatalities and 3 injured.
