On 12 January 2026, in Vitoria (Espirito Santo), unidentified armed men shot several times and killed a man in the Morro do Quadro community. Residents reported hearing an intense shooting. The perpetrators are unknown. Police suspect that the deceased was from the Morro do Cabral community and that it is linked to a dispute between rival drug trafficking groups. 1 fatality.
