On 11 January 2026, near Maungdaw town (Maungdaw township, Maungdaw district, Rakhine state), the combined force of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA), the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO), and the Rohingya Islamic Mahaazin (RIM) launched attacks on the Arakan Army (AA) outposts located in the border areas of Kyi Kyun and Milestones 45/46 around 3:00 am. Casualties unknown.
