On 11 January 2026, in Minhla town (Minhla township, Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), the joint force of the People's Defense Force (PaKaPha) - Minhla and the People's Defense Force - Thayarwady District Battalion-4 carried out a mine attack against two polling stations of the Lanmadaw road and the Chinese monastery polling station before the polling station opened around 4:00 am during the election perod. There was no casualties.
