On 11 January 2026, near Tet Tu Kone village (Bilin township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) attacked the Myanmar military soldiers in their former outpost that the military soldiers took control of on 10 January for the first day. Both sides fired heavy weapons during the armed clash. 15 military soldiers were killed.
