On 11 January 2026, Syrian armed forces and police members repelled a QSD infiltration attempt at the Asaliya position in rural Tell Abiad in Al Hasakeh's countryside in conjunction with sporadic clashes taking place between Syrian army members and QSD forces south of Tell Abiad city. On the same day, QSD forces mobilized towards frontlines with Syrian armed forces near Tell Abiad and Maadan in rural Ar Raqqa, near Ras al-Ain in rural Al Hasakeh and near Sad Tishreen in rural Aleppo. Casualties unknown.
