On 11 January 2026, in Chinda, Santa Barbara, in the early morning, three armed individuals, including a woman, attacked two police officers during an intervention at a beverages store. Upon arriving at the location, the three armed individuals attacked the officers, stripping one of his weapon, and brutally beating him up. The police later managed to arrest the suspects, while the injured officer was taken to hospital. The attackers were suspected to be involved in criminal activities, including attempted murder, assault against authority, and illegal weapon possession. 1 injured.
