On 11 January 2026, in Niteroi - Praias da Baia (Rio de Janeiro), the military police exchanged fire with TCP members in the city center. The suspects kidnapped and were holding four civilians captive (coded separately). Agents shot and injured a suspect and killed a second, arrested two others, recued the victims and seized a rifle, 3 pistols, a grenade, magazines, radio communicators, and drugs. 1 fatality.
