On 10 January 2026, in Thar Yar Kone village (Paukkhaung township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), a combined force of the Strategy 21, the People's Defense Force - Pyay District (Battalion-2 Company-3), the People's Defense Force - Pyay District (Battalion-1 Company-3), and the People's Defense Force - Paukkhaung (PaKaPha) attacked Myanmar military troops stationed at the village cemetery at about 3:23 am. The two sides then exchanged fire. Casualties unknown.
