On 10 January 2026, in Dawei township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped 2 bombs on the Lel Do Soe (Dawei) township office of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) at around 1:40 pm. A 2-year-old child was killed and 8 civilians (a man, 7 women and a 3-year-old girl) were injured. 1 fatality.
