On 10 January 2026, in Let Pan Yae Kyaw village (Minhla township, Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), the joint force of the People's Defense Force (PaKaPha) - Minhla and the People's Defense Force-Thayarwady District Battalion-4 carried out a mine attack against the Myanmar military, police, and Pyu Saw Htee members who were guarding Polling Station No. 1 around 5:00 pm during the election period. Casualties unknown.
