On 10 January 2026, near Tet Tu Kone village (Bilin township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military attacked and took control of a temporary outpost of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) in the morning. Both sides fired heavy weapons during the armed clash. The KNU/KNLA retreated from the outpost. Casualties unknown.
