On 10 January 2026, armed clashes took place between Syrian armed forces and QSD fighters in Aleppo - Al-Ashrafiyya, Aleppo - Sheikh Maqsoud, and the Beni Zaid neighborhood coded to Aleppo - Tariq Ben Ziad neighborhoods in Aleppo city, killing fourteen Syrian army soldiers.
