On 10 January 2026, cattle keepers suspected of being from the Dinka community attacked a cattle camp belonging to the Mundari community, leading to a clash in Wonduruba Payam (Juba County, Central Equatoria State). The clash resulted in 24 fatalities and 12 injuries, on both sides. The Dinka raided an unspecified number of cattle.
