On 10 January 2026, in Pedra Branca do Amapari (Amapa), military police officers clashed with and killed a man (likely involved in drug trafficking due to the material seized) in the Acazal neighborhood during a security operation. The man was planning an attack against a local military police base and displaying a firearm on social media. Police seized a firearm and seven packages of cocaine from the scene. 1 fatality.
