In Sagaing Region’s Salingyi Township, four junta soldiers were killed when resistance forces ambushed a military column traveling from the Yancy Company compound on January 30, according to Ko Phyo, a member of the Puet Taing Kyaw Artillery Unit.

He said anti-junta forces intercepted the military convoy as it left the compound, resulting in the deaths of four junta troops before the resistance group withdrew without losses.
