Two junta soldiers were killed when resistance forces ambushed a convoy transporting copper in Salingyi Township, Sagaing Region, according to a representative from the Brave Heart Army (BHA) who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News Agency.

The convoy, which included 27 copper trucks, eight escort trucks, and one 12-wheeled vehicle belonging to the Wanbao Company, was attacked by resistance groups around 10:52 a.m. on January 31 along the Monywa–Chaung-U road.
