According to a representative of the Urban Special Operation (U.S.O) group who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News, the Hlaing Tharyar Township Election Commission Office in Yangon Region was attacked with 40mm grenades, and there were injuries among the junta’s forces.

The incident took place around 11:03 p.m. on January 25, when members of the urban special operation team fired 40mm grenades at the junta’s township election commission office in Hlaing Tharyar. Reports indicate that casualties occurred among the military personnel, but the exact number has not yet been confirmed.
