A 17-year-old boy, armed with a gun, rode a dirt bike and opened fire seven times, killing his 23-year-old rival on Phetkasem Road. The boy's mother brought him to surrender to police. He has a history of numerous altercations.
Reporters stated that on January 29, 2026, at 8:00 PM, Pol. Lt. Col. Worapol Aswong, the investigating officer at Khao Yoi Police Station, received a report of a fatal shooting on Phetkasem Road, inbound to Bangkok, in the parallel lane, at Moo 2, Sarapang Subdistrict, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province. He reported the incident to Pol. Col. Thip Khengkhum, Deputy Commander of Phetchaburi Provincial Police, and Pol. Col. Niyom Suiwong, Superintendent of Khao Yoi Police Station. They then proceeded to the scene, coordinating with the Phetchaburi Provincial Forensic Unit and a doctor from Khao Yoi Hospital.
