On January 29 at noon, a school located in the center of Pho Wathain Village, in Biluin Township, was bombed by a military commission unit using a drone, damaging the building, according to reports.

Locals from about five nearby villages, including Pho Wathain, have been displaced for over a month since December 2025 due to military raids and targeted attacks by the military commission on civilians. As a result, no casualties were reported in the drone strike, a local source said.
