Around 50 members of the Military Commission were killed in an attack on a military convoy in Oktwin Township, Bago Region, Bago Yoma PDF- Strategy (22) reported today (January 29).

Yesterday (January 28), at 5:50 p.m., a military commission column of about 150 troops from the 6th Division Artillery Corps was attacked by the People's Defense Forces in Mailchaung Village, Oktwin Township, along the Paukkhaung-Oktwin Road in Pyay District.

During the attack, around 50 members of the Military Commission were killed, their troops fled, and weapons and ammunition were seized. Four members of the PDF coalition were killed and five were wounded.
