In Kyaukphyu Township, Rakhine State, a drone strike carried out by junta forces resulted in injuries to two local IDPs.

The individuals wounded are U Min Thet Htun, age 30, and Ma Pan Ei San, age 24, both hailing from Kon Baun Gyi Village, Kyaukphyu Township.

According to local sources, at noon today, January 22, a drone operated by the junta forces released a bomb close to the Shwe Rakhine Bus Terminal along the Kyaukphyu-Rangoon Highway, near Zin Chaung Khon Bwe Village, within Kyaukphyu Township.
