On January 19, at least seven persons, including a Chinese national, identified as Ayub, were killed and several others were injured in an explosion near a restaurant in the Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul, reports Amu TV. Taliban Police spokesman Khalid Zadran said the blast occurred around 3 p.m. at the Chinese Noodle Restaurant on Gulforoshi Street, a busy area close to diplomatic missions. The international medical charity EMERGENCY stated that at least seven people were killed and 13 others wounded in the explosion, which took place near its Surgical Centre in Kabul.
