The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) cadres targeted the Army cantonment in Sibi town (Sibi District) of Balochistan on January 18 by firing small and heavy weapons, reports Zrumbesh. The BRG claimed responsibility for the attack. In a statement issued to the media, BRG ‘spokesperson’ Dostain Baloch said that multiple rounds were also fired at the cantonment using a grenade launcher, with the shells reportedly landing inside the cantonment. The spokesperson Dostain Baloch said that as a result of the attack, the Security Forces suffered casualties and material losses.
