On January 18, Police recovered a cache of Pakistan-sent weapons in Pathankot District of Punjab, foiling a possible terror attack, reports The Times of India. The seizure included three AK-47 rifles, five magazines, two pistols of Turkish and Chinese make, and 98 rounds of ammunition. Deputy Inspector General (Border Range) Sandeep Goel stated the consignment was allegedly sent by Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda under instructions from Pakistans Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The weapons were found hidden in the Narot Jamal Singh area following a tip-off. A case was registered under the Explosive Substances Act, Arms Act and BNS provisions.
