At least nine Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed in an early morning attack on a SFs convoy in the Gomazi area of Tump tehsil (revenue unit) in Kech District of Balochistan on January 17, reports Zrumbesh. The attack occurred around 4am when a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy was passing through its designated route. The attackers, positioned at close range, opened intense fire on the convoy. Six FC vehicles were targeted, resulting in the death of nine personnel on the spot. No outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
