On January 16, Security Forces (SFs) recovered a live mortar shell from the Rampur area of Baramulla District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), which was later defused by the Army’s Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), reports Daily Excelsior. The shell was detected during digging work near an Army installation. The area was immediately secured, and the explosive was safely neutralised in the presence of Police officials. No casualties or property damage were reported.
