Four Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed while two other personnel sustained injuries when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres carried out attack in Nazarabad area of Tump tehsil (revenue unit) in Kech District of Balochistan on January 14, reports The Balochistan Post. The BLF claimed responsibility of the attack. In a statement, BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch said BLF fighters carried out a second attack earlier the same day in Nazarabad area, where they targeted SFs who had “set up covert checkpoints” on multiple routes. It added that SFs were reinforced by ground troops, air support and drones, but BLF fighters “withdrew safely”.
