Shirzad Balli, a Kurdish citizen and father of two, was killed on January 18, 1404, during popular protests in the city of Islamabad, west of Kermanshah province, by a live bullet fired by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. His funeral was held on January 10, in the Cheshmekhani Chikan Mansouri cemetery.
