A resistance group carried out a drone bombing on junta troops hiding along the old Yangon–Mandalay highway, and a separate bomb explosion occurred near Nyaung Chay Htauk police station in Okpho Township, according to a local resistance source who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News Agency.
Around 9 a.m. on January 24, resistance fighters dropped four bombs via drone on junta troops stationed along the old highway. Only one of the four bombs detonated, while the other three failed to explode and were later destroyed by the military, according to reports.
Additionally, around 8 a.m. on January 25, a bomb explosion occurred near the western perimeter fence of the Nyaung Chay Htauk police station in Okpho Township. It remains unclear whether there were any casualties among junta forces in either incident.
