In the western part of Maline Township, Mandalay Region, the military carried out an airstrike on Ywagne Village without any armed conflict taking place. According to local residents who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News Agency, one civilian was killed and three, including a child, were injured.

Around 5:30 p.m. on January 25, the military used a Mi-35 helicopter to drop three bombs on Ywagne Village in western Maline Township, although there was no fighting in the area. It was reported that a 38-year-old man was killed, three civilians including a child were injured, and one house was destroyed in the attack.
