A spokesperson from the Pyu Township People’s Defense Force (PDF) told Yangon Khit Thit News that six coordinated timed-explosive attacks were carried out this morning at locations where the junta was attempting to hold a “Section 3 election” in Pyu Township, Bago Region.

At around 6:25 a.m. on January 25, a time bomb went off near the Kabar Kyaw motorcycle repair shop close to the fire station in Pyu. About 15 minutes later, another device exploded near the Pyu police station at 6:40 a.m., followed by two more explosions at around 7:25 a.m. in front of Pyu Basic Education High School No. 3. The blasts targeted locations associated with the military council’s sham election operation, according to reports.
