On the evening of January 20, resistance forces used drones to bomb junta troops stationed at the Laung Lone town police station and near the General Administration Department office, where soldiers were conducting cleaning duties. Six soldiers were killed in the attack, and their bodies, along with the injured, were reportedly transported to Dawei town.
