A spokesperson from the COBRA ONE Force told Yangon Khit Thit News that resistance fighters launched a short-range rocket attack on a junta checkpoint in In Pin village, Pakokku Township, Magway Region.

At around 6:10 p.m. on January 22, revolutionary forces fired four short-range rockets at a military checkpoint in In Pin village. Three rockets landed and exploded near the checkpoint, causing casualties among junta troops, though the exact number could not yet be confirmed. Later that evening, around 8 p.m., the junta responded by firing at least 10 rounds of heavy artillery toward the area.
