A spokesperson from the Farmer Heroes Khin-U Group told Yangon Khit Thit News that revolutionary forces carried out a drone bombing on a military base in Pyin Htaung, a Pyu Saw Htee–controlled village in Khin-U Township, Sagaing Region, likely causing casualties among junta troops.

The attack took place on January 22, when resistance forces used drones to drop bombs on the base jointly occupied by junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia members. The operation reportedly inflicted casualties among the soldiers, though the exact number remains unconfirmed. The resistance fighters withdrew safely without any injuries.
