During yesterday's missile attack on Ukraine, Russian Tu-22m3 strategic bombers used new launch lines to carry out their attacks on Kyiv and Zhytomyr Oblasts.

6 Tu-22m3s departed from Olenya Airbase, Murmansk Oblast, and conducted launch maneuvers in the Unecha District of Bryansk Oblast.

Each bomber launched 2 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles. 8 missiles flew to the "Kyiv" 750 kV electrical substation near the village of Nalyvaikivka, while the other four flew to an unknown target north of Radomyshl, Zhytomyr Oblast.

3 of the Tu-22m3 bombers landed at Dyagilevo Airbase, Ryazan Oblast, while the other 3 landed at Shaykovka Airbase, Kaluga Oblast.

The launches took place at around 70 km from the border with Ukraine.
