According to Captain Tiger from the Myaung Township TGR People’s Defense Force (PDF), a joint resistance force attack on the Kyauk Yit police station in Myaung Township, Sagaing Region, killed two soldiers.

At around 7:30 p.m. on January 21, revolutionary forces launched a heavy-weapon assault on the station. The attack reportedly killed two soldiers and injured many others on the junta side, while resistance fighters successfully withdrew without casualties.
