#Guayaquil | The Armed Forces, through the Ecuadorian Navy, with personnel and resources from Task Force 61 “EXPLORATION,” carried out an internal military operation in the Modelo District, Kennedy Norte sector.
A raid was conducted on a building belonging to a private security company, which, according to intelligence reports, is allegedly linked to the criminal organization “Los Lagartos.” Military personnel verified the existence of security vaults that functioned as a warehouse and operations department, where firearms and related materials were located.
Results of the operation:
• 3 individuals apprehended.
• 13 firearms, including pistols, shotguns, and revolvers.
• 4 magazines.
The evidence and the apprehended individuals were turned over to the competent authorities for the corresponding legal proceedings.
With these actions, the Armed Forces reaffirm their permanent commitment to citizen security and the fight against criminal structures, contributing to peace and public order.
