On the afternoon of January 19, a jet fighter of the military dropped three 500‑pound bombs on Zidaw Kho village in Thanatpin Township. The airstrikes killed two residents — Naw Phaw Hsay, aged 85, and Naw Mu Theh, aged 55 — and injured two others, Naw Wah (52) and Naw Char Khue (64). Six houses were also damaged in the attack.
