Two Russian Geran-2 drones with Electro-Optical seekers struck Ukrainian Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters stationed at an airstrip in the city of Mala Vyska, Kirovohrad Oblast.

Both of the Gerans were directly controlled by drone operators.We are continuing to see a significant rise in the number of remotely-controlled Geran-2 drones being used by Russia.

Both of these helicopters were likely used for air defence purposes.
