On 9 January 2026, near Khuangli village (Falam township, Falam district, Chin state), a combined force of the Chin National Front (CNF), unidentified Chin resistance groups under the Chinland Council, and the Chin National Defense Force (CNO/CNDF) clashed with the Myanmar military since 6:30 am. During the clash, the military conducted four airstrikes with a jet fighter. Casualties unknown.
